Fall has arrived - time to head south

Fall has arrived, time to head back to europe

Bye bye Iceland, followed by dolphins

Tacking against 25kn of wind

Going real fast with the strong wind and tide :-)

The second day almost no wind and high swell - therefore heading down trough the protected Faroe islands

Looking forward to visit Vagur again

Back in the quiet place of Vagur - greeted by friends, which we met last time

A local captain leading us around "his" island

And showing us his family's old boat building shop...

...going back a long time

Fulmar chicks getting ready to fly. Once they leave their nest, they are to heavy to fly soon again...

... and they are easy prey for the locals, which pick them up from the water

Heading into a calm day - motrosailing again for 30 hours

Approaching one of our favorite spots, Fair Isle

Figuring out the narrow and rocky entrance

Heavy fendering is always mandatory

Alone in the harbour with the fine ferry "Good Shepherd IV"

Looking forward to visit the island and locals again (70 inhabitants)
