Trough the sound of Islay and up the long fiord

Kate and Fraser, a very nice boat-neighbor couple - spent great evenings with them

Ceilidh in Port Ellen with music...

... and professional dancers

And dances for everybody (almost like line-dance)

Finally the strong winds passed and we left Port Ellen behind

Entering the difficult sound of Islay with tides and eddies up to 5 knots

As soon as we approched the narrows, the big ferry came up behind us and we had to get out uf her way

Heavy rain and fog from time to time

Only seven year old sailing ship Alexander von Humbold coming out of the fog

Trawling fisher with the long nets behind

Lovely and very secure anchorage in Loch Spelve

Fishing in the entrance to the loch

Too many small pollacks (20 in ten minutes)

Enough for lunch

Second nice anchorage in Loch Spelve

Going for a hike

No trails...

...and a lot of water every where

And Scottish sheeps

Looking for passage
